Subject: Dragonlance Underground Volume I, Issue #7.42: The Mother of All Updates

Hello again Dear Readers

As must be apparent, the Tower Guardian is still on strike. He is currently with a Union representative and an arbitrator in salary negotiations. I never thought you could negotiate a salary of zero dollars, but perchance we'll get him a new broom or somesuch. Alas, I once again am left to spread word of our deeds. Thus, here it be.

As promised this update of Dragonlance Underground is packed with helpful and informative information concerning the weekend we have all been waiting for, Gen Con. In fact, there is so much in this update, we couldn't call this newsletter issue #7; we crammed an extra .42 into it. Never say the Raistlins do not give it their all. Without further ado, here is what you can look forward to in the DLU Gen Con Pre-Show Spectacular:

-I bring you a forceful editorial that should get your dice hand twitching in anticipation. You will game.

-Niltsiar discovers horrifying evidence of subliminal persuasion from last year's Gen Con. Using the advanced technology afforded by an 8-track player and a screwdriver, we reveal the evil inherent in the system. Beware the siren song when Hickman comes 'round.

-In another stunning work of journalism, I review the best places to throw back an ale or four while in Milwaukee. This review has a little something for everybody, as long as everybody is looking for liquor. I hear the Times wanted this review, but I'd not deny our fair readers the pleasure of getting it here first.

-Niltsiar and Raist666 team up to bring you the events we would most like to see at this year's Gen Con. Naked LARPing just barely missed out this year.

-Need a Gen Constume? Raist666 rummages in the trash long enough to work up a list of cheap costumes for all the Gen Con'ers that spent all their ducats on the techno remix of Mina's Song and the Gold Plated Edition of Dragons of a Fallen Sun.

-The Raistlins reveal the answer to the question on everybody's lips... What's Raisted's Charisma score? Check out the new d20 stats for Raisted, Niltsiar, Lady Raist, and R4i5t1in. Bring them to a gaming table, and see the fear spread in the DM's eyes.

-A new Dalbert comic by... Oh, wait... a new Dal the Dork comic by Kevin James Kage. Same difference, right?

Now you tell me that isn't a stunning display of entertainment. Especially since a good third of it is written by yours truly!

Enjoy, friends. If all goes well, we'll be bringing you live minor updates from the convention. Worst case, we will have a lovely post-con wrap-up for you all. I will see you in Milwaukee.
