Ch-ch-ch-changes
If you've lived in this world for any amount of time, you've learned important life lessons. Probably the most vital and encompassing lesson is that of change. In this ever growing and expanding world of technology, advances, and people (a dynamic and expansive set of beings), change is something that we need, thrive on, and desire.
We've seen huge changes in the world of Krynn, from the first release of three novels over twenty years ago. From a small group of companions making their own changes on the world to gods and monsters, growing, expanding, and even disappearing. Sometimes I think our small little family of Raistlins is like that. Since the inception of our site back in January 2001, we've grown, changed, diminished, re-grown, and through it all, we manage to hold our sanity together for just a bit longer.
There were times when we didn't know what was going on with anything anymore. Team members left, productivity slowed down, we even experienced our own Time of Troubles. But we're still here, and our family has changed yet again!
Sadly, last month we bid farewell to Niltsiar, who felt an itching in his robes and chose to end his stay in our Tower of Bad Sorcery. For our fans that have been here the longest, you'll recall that Niltsiar was one of the first Raistlins. Needless to say, he's also the oldest, and the years have tried to be kind to him. We will miss our gardener, be sure of that.
But we did get an awesome trade in on Niltsiar... one wouldn't believe that you can really get three Raistlins for the price of one! Please allow me to introduce our newest three staff members, all of which are featured in today's update!
SacRaistic - A Raistlin of wit and charm, prose and poetry, talent and skill... oh who am I kidding? He's just as bitter and petulant as the rest of us!Give our new Raistlins a hearty welcome and send them lots of bandages... we'll be putting them through their testing and training stages over the next few weeks and I'm sure they'll be quite grateful for any aid they're given!Rambling Rose - A Raistlin that travels all over the southern hemisphere, collecting artistic tidbits and colors of the rainbow. Just give her a paintbrush and a few happy herbs, and her imagination soars!
Sailor Raistlin (aka Raist-chan) - Yes, even anime somehow made it into the Underground. We're scared to see what kind of googly eyed characters she's going to produce for us!
