The Truth about Deja Vu

By Niltsiar

In The Matrix we learn that Deja Vu is caused by sudden changes in the Matrix. A neat idea really. It's the first time I've ever heard of Deja Vu being caused by something changing, rather than something being the same. There are lots of theories for Deja Vu, from past lives to predestination. The Matrix's computer glitch scenario takes the cake though.

This is not a computer glitch. You're experiencing Deja Vu because we are indeed running old articles again. Why? Well, a simple explanation would be, "Because we can." Or, like Wizards, we could say, "To introduce some of our favorite articles to new readers who may not have seen everything the site has to offer."

Both of these answers are inadequate. The real reason you're seeing this issue is because the Raistlins can only work so fast, and we have little to offer you this week. We've exhausted our supply of submissions and our own articles aren't done yet.

This puts us in an awkward situation. We can't provide for you if we have nothing to provide. We certainly can't keep this site going at the quality level we want if we're desperately struggling to finish every article we put out just to have something to show for the week, the humor level on this site is going to plummet, and no one's going to be happy.

It could be that you're putting all your efforts into www.DL3e.com. If that's the case, we salute you. It's a great site and a noble effort. Not everyone is a game guru though, and we need those of you who like to write, to draw, and to code, to put those skills to good use, and help us keep this site going strong week after week.

Because the truth about Deja Vu is, it doesn't come from changing. It comes from things remaining the same.
