End of the Innocence

Salutations fellow lancers. Today I am to talk about a topic that is near and dear to my heart. It's the proverbial rape of our dear Dragonlance setting.

We all remember the golden days, when heroes were heroes, villains were villains, and Raistlin was REALLY dead. And yet, look around you now and what do you see? Giant dragons sectioning up Ansalon. Is this Ravenloft? Birthright? Why the domains? Even when the Dragonarmies were in control there was never this stifling feeling of separation! Our heroes now consist of Dhamon, a freakish ex-knight who constantly wobbles back and forth from having a messiah complex and having a god complex, to the equally freakish Mina, the buzz-cut chick from who-knows-where! I find myself longing for the war-rent days of ages gone by. But all I see ahead of me is the irritating screech of a FLASH 4 Hill Dwarf decked out in baggy pants and gold chains singing to a horrid MP3 recording of "Quality Control".

I beg all of you, this monstrous future must be put out of its misery! We must all do our parts in ending this ridiculous façade by doing as I and the other Raistlins do: taunt this unbelievable treachery until it runs home and cries for its mommy!

That's right, each and every one of you has some kind of humorous take on SOMETHING that is wrong with Dragonlance. Well, we want it! Type it up, and send it in! If it's funny, and if you've got the GUTS to give it to us, by the white light of Lunitari (hehehe) we'll post it! Be a part of something worthwhile and show those lame-brained idiots who think that they're so hot a thing or two about what Dragonlance is REALLY about! Remember, I and everyone else on the Dragonlance Underground staff support you one hundred percent!
