The Citadel of Light at Schallsea. Home to the Order of Mystics. A cult shrouded in secrecy, but renowned across Ansalon for their miraculous healing techniques. From all across Ansalon, travelers come seeking the aid of the Mystics. But could those arcane rituals be used to revive the dead?

Goldmoon. Chieftain's Daughter. Cleric of Mishakal. Hero of the Lance. Even before her association with the Order of Mystics, the Que-Shu princess was well-known throughout Ansalon. As founder of the Citadel, she passes her arts to new generation. What are the limits of her power? Indeed, does her power have limits?

Schallsea. An island in an inland sea. Little known and little regarded until the arrival of the Mystics, and yet it is here we find one of the greatest mysteries of Krynn, for it is here, sources say that Goldmoon was slain, and miraculously resurrected.

But did this incident really happen? High ranking officials at Wizards say no.

"The idea of a character dying and being brought back to life is preposterous," said one official who wished only to be known as M.W. "We would never stoop so low as to bring a character back from the dead."

"Resurrection? Impossible. In the Realms certainly, but never Dragonlance. The campaign world is much too inferior for that," said E.G., a noted expert on immortal characters.

If this is true, then what of the eyewitness accounts of Goldmoon's death?

"Yes, I'm sure she was dead. Trust me," said our anonymous informant, D.G.

"Oh, she was dead all right. Soth Dead," said P.M.

But without hard evidence, can these claims be substantiated?

"The trouble is, it's so much easier to accept that she never died," said Goldmoon researcher Melvin Morris. "Wizards has suppressed evidence for so long that likely we will never know what truly happened. What material has been released is often censored to the point that it becomes useless."

Indeed, our own crew managed to get a hold of one of these documents, and as you can see, little record remains.

But what if Goldmoon was slain and resurrected? How would it have happened. The following Flash movie is a Dramatic Reenactment of these very events. What you are about to see contains graphic violence. Children and the faint of heart should leave the room.

Dramatic Reenactment

Is this truly what happened to Goldmoon?

Recently, Wizards of the Coast issued a press release containing new information. An excerpt follows:

"....The accounts of Goldmoon's death are most certainly untrue. The 'body' that eyewitness accounts describe matches the appearance of weapons-drilling dummies used by the Knights of Solamnia to train their squires. They can be quite easily cut apart, and their general appearance is rather Goldmoon-like....."

In response to Goldmoon's absence during that period, Jean Rabe was quick to comment, "She was just sick."

Skeptics disagree.

"#$5& Jean #$%&ing Rabe and her @#%& &%$#ing #&@$ @#$% &%@!" said one rather passionate critic.

But despite their differences of opinion, skeptics and believers alike know that something happened on Schallsea. As for the truth of the matter, we may never know.
