The arrival of the old Gods of Krynn was a complete shock to everyone. At first, panic struck most people, as they believed the end of the world had come. Then the general population was swept into a wave of relief as they considered that the Gods could now get rid of the Dragon Overlords. This was followed by an incredible feeling of disappointment as they found out that the Gods had returned...... to find Reorx's hat..... as of today, we are godless as usual....
Unfortunately, it is. The rumor that has been going around was finally confirmed today by the Academy's Founder, Palin Majere. Two weeks ago, a Kender by the name of Delwick Pouchstuffer requested admission into the Academy of Sorcery. He was accepted. "The Kender shows remarkable talent in making things suddenly disappear," Palin said. "Although we still aren't sure he's actually using magic to do it..." A local was quoted, "When will the hurting stop......?"
Although Beryl's birthday party was a resounding success, it was not without terrible problems. The games went fine but unfortunately, someone spiked the punch. All fingers (should I say claws?) are pointed at Malys, who said she "really brought a humdinger of a gift." The party was closed early when the inebriated dragons started fighting over whether Elf went with white or red wine. The worst was yet to come, for this morning almost all the Overlords awoke with dreadful hangovers. This has led them to roam their territories, blasting everything in sight. Residents are encouraged to speak really, really quietly.
