It's that time of year again. Time to pull out the log you've been saving just for this occasion and set it ablaze to warm the bones of kin, tired from another year of hard work.

That's right folks, it's Yule here on the fabulous world of Krynn and many wondrous things have been happening! But before I get into today's edition of Today on Krynn, let me tell you about the DragonLance mailing list character party that was held (without your knowledge) last night......

The party was held at Cricket Lighttoes house this year (on the idea that she could easily lock up all the breakable stuff at her place in a room.... just in case... The (In)famous Monitor Guy then showed, bearing gifts for the hostess in the form of twinkees and creme puffs! FOOD! Also he brought along the home version of his favorite game: "Throw Annoying People Over the Wall to the Rabid Draconians—The Interactive Board Game"! Stargzr dropped in with a bowl of punch and Dalmarious entered bearing a cake! After arranging all this to the satisfaction of Cricket, the front door more or less burst open revealing Tavin Springfingers and Kistilan the Dark.... still arguing (heatedly) over whether Kender COULD make armor. Soon after Stan! dropped in, passing out his newest article: "Who the Shadow Sorcerer might be."! Another great accomplishment! Miranda joined shortly after, exhausted after a long day of work, but was quickly caught up in a large debate on whether AD&D or SAGA was a better system (which somehow was spawned from a question about which system her cat preferred.... don't ask me...). Mattlynch dropped by to give us a quick update on the EXACT locations of ALL of the Towers of High Sorcery...... I'm afraid that after that everything is more or less a blur, for in a fit of..... something.... Kistilan the Dark spiked the Yuletide Punch......... I do have vague memories of yelling and screaming and somebody shouted fire... and I ended up in a locked room somehow with vases and plates and this really nice crystal set... which I really should return (once I find the owner....) Well, it was one heck of a party.......... but now we shall turn to the news... (Aargh... my head! Who hit me with that board game anyhow......)

Today on Krynn:

Singing Lizards: In a massive attempt to gain the understanding and sympathy from the other races, the Draconian Nation of Teyr formed the Caroling Company. This hand picked group of various Draconians roam around the lands singing Yuletide songs for the enjoyment of all. As of yet, there is no word on the success of this project....

Riding on the success of the Great Kender Bake Sale, Hylo Nation released the opening of the Great Kender Eggnog Drinking Contest. Also this morning, most ports closed due to "repairs to the well being of the docks" It seems that (for the moment) the Kender are out of luck.

A strange attack was made on Castle Harland this afternoon. A large band of Draconians simply walked up to the castle wall and began wailing. The effect was astounding as the Knights all keeled over in pain at the horrid noise... When asked about the attack, one young knight responded "Thank Paladine that one of our group managed to fall over on the release catch to the boiling oil or we might all have died."

You know... everyone has been asking me what I want for Christmas. Well, okay. Not everyone, but most people.... Fine! Some people have. A few..... Okay, nobody has asked but I'm gonna tell you anyhow!!!

I wanna be able to post interviews again....... I miss them so much....
