Today on Krynn:
| So They Were Drunk, What's New?-
The aftermath of holiday partying was felt worst of all by the dwarves. Early this morning a merchant caravan arrived at Thorbardin only to the doors to the great mountain once again securely shut. On the door was a note that read: "Closed for a week due to unforseen complications." The merchants of course complained about losing revenue, but I think it was a wise idea on behalf of the dwarves. Do YOU really want to be hawking your wares to a mountainful of hung over dwarves?

| Everyone's a Critic-
Yesterday the little town of Qualin-Paas held the first celebration of the Dragons. The first and the last. The city is located within the Realm of Malystryx the Red. So far in that it is said that the town can be seen by the Great Red as she perches upon the Peaks of Malys. The festival was held in honor of Malystryx and her mercy in not destroying the city. There was song, food, poetry, and dance. Then something went wrong. During the "Dance of Submission" the dancer who represented Malystryx tripped and fell over one of the dancers playing a villager and broke his leg. Apparently The Red Maurader was watching, and took the performance the wrong way, because we will no longer be recieving any news from the smoldering ashes of Qualin-Paas.

| Well, It Doesn't Really Suprise Me...-
The population of Sancrist Isle were in for a shock today when, about mid-afternoon, Mt. Nevermind—the acclaimed home for the infamous Tinker Gnomes—jumped into the air today. According to an eye witness, the mountain jumped around two hundred feet in the air, spitting monsterous flames from underneath it. Then after about two minutes of hanging in the air, it returned to the ground with an earth-wrecking crash. "Bits and pieces were lying everywhere," recounts a local Solamnic Knight. "I don't know what in the gods name they were trying to accomplish, but they sure paid for it!" The number of casualties the gnomes suffered is unknown but the damage to the mountain itself was extensive. More on this late breaking story as details arrive.
