Mohrlex, the dragon overlord that controls most of Nordmaar has been known for his hedonism, his enjoyment of fine tastes and exotic things, and his love of music. In order to further trade in the area around Nordmaar, as well as in Nordmaar itself, the Legion of Steel sent out one of the world's leading Bards, Master Levine Baerwold. After his first performance, Mohrlex was so pleased that he completely opened the borders to his realm for trade. However, as with all things though, it came with a price. Mohrlex is so enamored with Levine that he will not let the Bard out of his sight. Master Levine will be sorely missed... for what looks to be the rest of his life.
A group of Gnomes announced a great invention that may very well change the world.The invention is a round machine that creates an anti-magic field. All magic within the field ceases to work. The machine has been thoroughly tested and proven to work. The only question now is it's practicality. The machine is currently the size of a barn.....
A new book written by the incomprable Dr. Phinneas H Delbrook, an authour well known into his keen exploits into the societies of non-human races, illuminates a very interesting fact about Kender society. According to Dr. Delbrook, the laid back and forgetful nature of kender society can be traced to a crop that is grown only by the kender. This plant, with it's five pointed leaves, is known amongst the kender populace as "bud". This crop is harvested and used as smoking tobacco amongst the kender. Dr. Delbrook points out that the smoking of this plant induces incredible relaxation, limits your brain functions and greatly affects your thinking skills. The Dr, believes this to be a major factor in both kender society and in the individual growtrh of a young kender. We here at Today on Krynn are amused by these findings, but not suprised.
